- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was given the wrong treatment the first time in the ER for pneumonia, so I had no option but to return a second. I was in the ER about 5 hours the first time and about 4 hours the second. Both my bills were absolutely outrageous, and the second one was even more than the first. My insurance covers over 80%, and I'm still left with hefty bills. They fail to mention that one will receive bills separately from, the physician or doctor, lab technician, radiology, the hospital themselves and anyone else who pokes their head in the door.
